My Favourite Horse Breeds and Colours
Arabians are a breed and my absolute favourite. The Arab is the oldest breed in the world and thoughbreds are descended from them. Arabians are very high- strung meaning that they get silly over the littlest thing. I love Arabians because they are very intelligent and caring all though they run into fences and stuff like that. They are a very ‘fine’ sort of horse, very delicate. Arabians have lovely body structure and their coats are usually quite silky and smooth. Here’s a picture of one-
My favourite colour of the Horse is skewbald. A skewbald horse is any colour (except black. Black and white is Piebald) and white. I love the chestnut brown and white. Skewbald horses used to be called a breed but not anymore. Here is a picture of one-
Another favourite breed of mine is the Kaimanawa. They are a New Zealand wild horse and they come from the middle of the North Island near Tihape. Kaimanawas are usually gentle and a very quiet ride. Kaimanawas are good jumpers and lovely dressage horse. Since they are fantastic on hills, we use them a lot. Kaimanawa’s can do heaps of things. Games are a fun one and as they are usually small it is easier for us as well. Kaimanawas are a mix of all different breeds but they all make this one. Here is a picture of one-
