Delilah's First ODE

On Sunday I went to a ODE on Delilah. There were four people in my class. It was her first ever one and I though she did really well! In the dressage she was a bit too fast but other wise it was really good. In the show jumping I had 3 refusals but none of them at the same jump. Then in the cross country she refused almost every jump but she jumped the first one and a few others really well with out refusing. Well at the end of it all, Connie was 1st in dressage and 1st overall. Roma was 2nd overall and the other girl, Sarah Newton was 4th. So that meant Delilah was 3rd. I was so proud of her! She didn’t lose and got a placing! After it was finished I took her over the jumps again and after a bit she was jumping really well! She is such a cool horse!
