The Drought

For ages there was no rain. Absolutely no rain at all. On the 29th of March our spring dried up. No water for us to drink. No water for the stock. Brown as far as the eye could see. Our cattle, sheep and horses were getting thinner. When suddenly on the 30th of March 2008 the skies opened and down it came. RAIN! The farmers all cheered. The long waited rain had finally come. Now grass will grow stock will fatten and it will all be green once more though out the land.
